Oroton will provide financing to distressed real estate investors that have initiated a transaction in the distressed real estate market and need interim financing for a very short-term duration of 1-3 business days. Generally, Oroton will engage in these transactions only if the purchase price is below a specified percentage of the price discovery point of the property and with strict Escrow instructions that will limit Oroton’s exposure to risk. Oroton will charge a financing fee for standard transaction financing that enables Oroton to earn a gross profit on the amount of financing committed. In all instances, Oroton gives priority to these transactions because of their risk free nature and because Oroton is able to roll over its money a large number of times per year.
